Ambler AK...Part 2

I forgot this interesting video yesterday. These are animals that passed through one of our spike camps a few nights ago. The tracks, in sequence, are brown bear - aka grizzly; caribou; wolf. I’m envisioning a conversation like this: “Where’s Wayne? I haven’t seen him this morning.” “No idea. He got up to take a leak last night and I haven’t seen him since.”

And since we seem to be talking about wild fires, I recalled this piece written by a Public Information Officer on a fire I was on in 2016 - The Beaver Creek near Steamboat Springs, CO. I was newish - 5 years - on fire, so I found this Wild Fire Primer piece instructive and interesting. I was on this fire for almost the entire summer which allowed me to not only replenish my savings account, but to purchase a high-end, electric assist, mountain bike that I still own and use.
