the answer is we need to start at the bottom [individuals]and and at the top [government] to understand we are all the same ,human beings. The government end is the hardest. There must never be a 3rd grader that spews out raciest bile. That must be addressed ,family wise , school wise and community wise. Thats at the bottom. So if no 3rd grader, then maybe no 7th grader and then no 12 grader. Despite their parents prejudice the schools and the community must find ways to show the youth the right way.
Another great post, Wayne!!! Out of the park, as usual. You always open my eyes to yet another aspect of our dark, shameful history. Four hundred four years is at least four hundred three too many. Keep “writing and talking”, in order that I may keep “sharing and talking”. BTW, we enjoyed Joe’s visit, and made him promise he will bring you with him next time. Birmingham has sooooooo much to show you; so much dark and shameful history that it is shining its lights on. It’s a start……. broken, just not finished.
…but wouldn’t that be the dreaded Critical Race Theory thing?
Thanks Kray. I’ll be back in the SE relatively soon to see more historic landmarks with you as my guide. Keep the beer cold.
Wayne, I'm blown away by these revelations ! Thanks for all your research. These facts should be taught in every school in our country.

I couldn’t agree more.
