This may or may not be pertinent or of interest, but my brother-in-law is being asked to speak to ever-growing audiences recently about non-violent protest, and I thought I’d share his publications with you: https://hardymerriman.com/writings/

Hey thanks Molly. I took a look at that link. I guess my view is that EVERYTHING that might move the dial is important. Personally, I believe that peaceful protest can be very effective and that moving this damned stubborn dial will take all of us using all the tools at our disposal. So thank you. I even think that violent protest have their place. The George Floyd protest of 2020 - it was their violent nature that kept the focus on them month after month and kept the issue in front of the world. When the violence died down, so did the media focus. So thanks for the link.

Great column, Wayne. Landrieu's speech is quite something, isn't it? Having four years of history override 400 years really doesn't make sense, especially when that four years was so terribly wrong.

Thanks again, You must read Unsettling Truths, by Mark Charles. That will really turn your head.

Thanks much Don. And thanks for the book recommendation. Is speed reading still a thing? if it is, I need to learn it.
